Austin is the aura unlike all other cities. The night life acts like vampires as though the Congress Street bats were not really bats to begin with. For all its oddities and unique qualities, I still felt prodded and poked to enter a world of common American debauchery. I've never been begged to drink beer. Heavy metal pizza shops do make everything all better, especially at 130 in the morning. Mark had a show out on 6th Street at 1230 am. It was a smash hit, as most live music ought to be in Austin. They got called back for more, later in the year. I also had the pleasure of eating dinner with my dad in Austin. Yay for free hotel stay too. On the downside, free parking ends at 830 am. So I had to run a mile at 815 to catch my car before it was swallowed by the mounted police. Eh. Either way it was a short night.
there i go again
pretending that i'll fall
don't call the doctors
they've seen it all before
they'll say just let her crash and burn she'll learn
the attention just encourages her
and you can tell
from the smoke at the stake
that the current state is critical
well it is the little things, for instance:
in the time it takes to break it she can make up ten excuses:
please excuse her for the day, its just the way the medication makes her...
i dont necessarily believe there is a cure for this
so i might join your century but only as a doubtful guest
